ACU is currently looking for a suitable and dynamic candidate for the position of:Sales & Service Assistant ACU Branch Sint Maarten M/W (junior)

 

Job objective:

The Sales & Services Assistant is responsible for selling the complete product and services package of ACU, by meeting the financial needs of its members and providing practical advice and superior customer service. The Sales & Services Assistant is also responsible for entering, processing, editing and checking data related to all commercial transactions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Answers questions and provides information about services and products to (potential) members of ACU
  • Performs all tasks related to the intake of (new) members, advises members who want to be eligible for one of the products or services of ACU and explains the application procedures
  • Is responsible for completing various application forms for various ACU products and services in accordance with the procedure and assists members with completing forms while providing the necessary information
  • Is responsible for processing the application forms
  • Performs changes and corrections to the member administration in the relevant system
  • Processes, edits and controls all commercial transactions of members in Sint Maarten
  •  

    Profile:

    • MBO + level completed in the areas of Finance, Accounting and/or Administration
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience related to Customer Services and/or Banking
    • Demonstrable commercial knowledge and very good communicational skills
    • Proactive and highly customer-oriented
    • High level of integrity, hands-on, pragmatic and no 8-5 mentality
    • Demonstrable analytical thinking
    • Fluent in the Dutch, English and Papiamentu
    • A good team player

     

    Working conditions:

    Salary and employment conditions depend on experience and education and will be agreed upon in mutual
    consultation. The existing collective labor agreement for ACU staff will serve as a starting point. A medical examination, a background check and an assessment are part of the application procedure
